A. Overview:
Positive pressure pneumatic conveying is a general term for the conveyance mode in which the pressure of the whole pipeline system is greater than the local air pressure. Low-pressure dilute phase conveying engineering is defined as gas pressure lower than 0.1mpa.
B. Features of the positive pressure dilute phase system:
1. It has a long conveying distance, generally low pressure dilute phase can send 100 ~ 300m distance;
2. The energy consumption of the transmission power source is relatively low (lower than the negative pressure dilute phase);
3. The manufacturing and maintenance requirements of the whole system equipment are relatively high, especially for the sealing and wear resistance of the feeding mechanism, which will increase with the increase of pressure;
4, can be more feed, but the more feed point, the higher the requirements of the feeding valve.
5, can be multi-point discharge;
6. Equipped with microelectronic automatic control device, it is easy to realize automation;
7. Generally speaking, air cooler is required to lower the temperature of pressure gas to room temperature or the specified temperature before it is used for transportation.
C. Basic Principles:
Roots blower is generally used as the power source for positive pressure pneumatic conveying. The air temperature at the outlet of the blower is reduced to an appropriate temperature through the cooler. After further filtering the air, it is mixed with the material in the mixing chamber to maintain a certain conveying speed in the pipeline.
